The city of Nurdagi in the Turkish province of Gaziantep, which suffered from earthquakes, will be completely demolished, media reports citing a statement by local authorities. Before the earthquake, about 17 thousand people lived there.

An earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred on February 6. It was the deadliest earthquake in Turkey since 1939. The Turkish Confederation of Entrepreneurship and Business estimates that the earthquake caused damage to residential buildings in the amount of about $70 billion and another $10 billion was a loss of national income.
