On Channel One, they began to show the program "Conversations about the Important", duplicating similar propaganda sessions in Russian schools. Issues will be released as part of the Good Morning program weekly on Mondays at 8:36, when similar lessons begin in schools.

“The program will be of interest both to the children who for some reason stayed at home that day, and their parents, who will be able to learn more about extracurricular activities, watch video messages from federal speakers and continue talking about important things at home,” the Telegram channel says . project.

The fact that teachers will be forced to conduct propaganda lessons became known in June 2022. The Ministry of Education spent 22 million rubles on interactive materials. At the same time, teachers refused to pay extra for conducting the lessons themselves.

These extracurricular activities take place every Monday before the first period – immediately after the flag-raising and anthem ceremony, which has also become mandatory in all public schools since the new school year.

Lessons “Talk about the important” are defined by the Ministry of Education as teaching schoolchildren about patriotism, getting to know the history of the country and its cultural values. In June, it became known that among the topics of such classes were the 110th anniversary of Sergei Mikhalkov (the author of the anthems of the USSR and Russia), “reunification with the Crimea”, “The Immortal Regiment” … In St. Petersburg, in the process of preparing teachers for these class hours, there were it is stated that they will help protect the younger generation from the Internet, which is especially important "during a special operation."
