The National Council (Parliament) of Slovakia recognized Russia as a sponsor of terrorism, and the Russian regime as a terrorist one. This is stated on the website of the Parliament.
The deputies condemned the Russian aggression in Ukraine and expressed support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. In addition, they condemned direct and indirect threats from Russia to use nuclear weapons.
In addition, in the resolution, Slovakia does not recognize the conduct and results of "referendums" in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions of Ukraine. “These territories remain part of Ukraine,” the document says. The country will support efforts to set up a special tribunal to prosecute war crimes.
In December, the Sejm of Poland recognized Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism. The text of the resolution adopted by the Sejm states that Russia "attacks the territories of other countries, commits armed attacks, war crimes and genocide."
The same decision was made by the Czech Parliament in November.
