The European Parliament adopted a resolution according to which deputies admit that Navalny is being tortured and subjected to ill-treatment. They also demanded that he be provided with medical care and a doctor.
According to the resolution, the ill-treatment is now becoming more and more unbearable – not only with Navalny, but also with other political prisoners in Russian colonies. The deputies demand that Navalny be transferred to a pre-trial detention center and respect the right to visit his family and lawyers.
On February 1, it was reported that Navalny had lost 7 kg and was suffering from stomach pains. For a long time he was regularly in the ShIZO, now he was sent to the EPKT for six months. During the stay in the PKT, a prisoner is entitled to only one parcel and one short visit per six months.
Navalny has serious health problems, in particular with his back. In addition, he was recently infected with SARS by deliberately placing an infected prisoner. In January, more than 600 doctors signed an open letter to Putin demanding that doctors be allowed to see Navalny and stop sending him to the ShIZO.
