Historian Andrei Zubov was recognized as a “foreign agent” for comments to Dozhd, Republic and Radio Liberty

On February 17, the historian Andrey Zubov, who was included in the list of new "foreign agents", was included in this list by the Ministry of Justice for the comments that he gave to the "foreign agents" media: Radio Liberty, Dozhd and Republic. This is written by the "Agency", which managed to find a dossier compiled by Roskomnadzor on Zubov. The document lists 25 materials that he created together with "foreign agents".

On February 17, the register of the Ministry of Justice, in addition to Zubov, was replenished by journalist Andrei Loshak and the Vozrozhdeniye School of Free Public Thought.

According to the Ministry of Justice, Zubov and Loshak created and distributed materials of “foreign agents” and “inaccurate information” about Russia, and the “Vozrozhdeniye School of Free Public Thought” opposed the Russian authorities:

In December 2021, it became known that the Mediazon publication was recognized as a "foreign agent" due to Google's advertising revenue, while earlier a Russian court insisted on paying similar income to Tsargrad.
