A blogger who took a nude photo against the background of the Church of the Virgin was sent for compulsory treatment

The Golovinsky District Court of Moscow released from criminal liability and sent for compulsory treatment to a psychiatric hospital blogger Polina Morugina (Polina Face), who took a nude photo against the background of the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos in Fili. It is reported by TASS.

According to the materials of the court, the blogger suffers from "schizotypal personality disorder", so she could not realize the nature of her actions and control them during the photo session. The prosecutor considered that the girl posed a danger to society and herself and needed treatment. Morugina's mother, who is acting as her legal representative, said she considered the measure necessary.

In January 2022, a criminal case was opened against 26-year-old resident of Kaluga Natalya Maslennikova for insulting the religious feelings of believers (part 1 of article 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) because of a photo with a raised skirt against the backdrop of a church. There were several cases like this last year. On October 29, the court passed a sentence on the participants of the photo shoot against the backdrop of St. Basil's Cathedral. Then the blogger from Tajikistan Ruslan Talabdzhon (Ruslan Bobiev) and the model Anastasia Chistova (Asya Akimova) were sentenced to ten months in a penal colony
