US to send $460 million to Ukraine, total military aid exceeds $27 billion since Russian invasion

The Pentagon announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, the US will send another $450 million, as well as an additional $10 million to restore the energy system. The statement was published on the website of the State Department. The total volume of military aid has exceeded $27 billion since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

As part of a new aid package totaling $460 million, the United States will supply Ukraine with ammunition for HIMARS missile systems and Javelin anti-tank systems, as well as air surveillance radars. In addition, 55-mm and 120-mm artillery shells and four air surveillance radars will be provided to Kyiv.
