The founder of the Conflict Intelligence Team, Ruslan Leviev, said that a second criminal case was opened against him for "fake" about the army.
Judging by the decision published by Leviev, the new case was initiated on February 17. The document states that he "spread deliberately false information" about the shelling of a children's hospital in Mariupol on the air of the Popular Politics channel.
The resolution notes that, according to the statements of the Russian Ministry of Defense, civilian objects are not the goal of the Russian army.
In May 2022, Leviev was put on the wanted list, and then arrested in absentia under an article about “fakes” about the army. With him on the case is journalist Michael Nucky.
