Prices for toll roads in Russia raised for the second time in a week

The state company "Avtodor", engaged in the construction and maintenance of toll roads, will increase the cost of their use by 2.6 times. This was made possible by a government decree .

According to Kommersant, the change in prices is associated with an increase in the cost of the construction process. Thus, for car owners, the fare can be increased from the current 3 rubles to 5–8 rubles per 1 km. The last time Avtodor raised prices was just a week ago, on February 17, as part of the “annual indexation”. According to it, travel along the entire M-4 Don highway from Moscow to Krasnodar in a passenger car has risen in price from 2.4-3 thousand rubles to 2.8-3.5. On the Moscow region section of the M-1 Belarus highway – from 100-120 to 140, the price there ceased to depend on the day of the week. On the section of the M-12 Vostok highway from the Central Ring Road to Orekhovo-Zuevo – from 89 rubles to 99.

The document on the new change in the price list was published on February 21. It takes effect ten days after publication, but it is not known when to apply it. The price list is valid from 2016. Since then, the cost of building the M-12 Vostok highway has risen in price from 622.8 billion to 911.6 billion rubles.
