The administration of the Tikhvinsky district of the Leningrad region congratulated the relatives of the military who died in the war in Ukraine on February 23. They were given sets with shaving foam and shampoo. This was reported in the group of the district administration in VKontakte.
“On Defender of the Fatherland Day, today it is right to honor not only our soldiers and officers, but their families. Those who believe and wait at home, who pray for them every day and hour. Who courageously and honorably bore the news of the death of the heroes… Today, representatives of local governments congratulated the relatives of the Tikhvinians who died in the NVO,” the message says. The publication is accompanied by photographs in which a representative of the administration in a mink coat and an orange vest with the inscription "We are together" gives gift sets to the relatives of the victims.
In February, a video appeared on social networks and the media, in which the wives of Donbass residents who died in the war are given fur coats as a gift. As it turned out later, not all the women in the video were the wives of the victims, and everyone's fur coats were taken away after filming.
