A resident of Vladivostok, who prevented the brutal detention, was sentenced to four years in prison

The Frunzensky District Court of Vladivostok sentenced a man to four years in prison for obstructing a brutal police arrest. Baza writes about it. According to the Telegram channel, the convict's name is Tikhon. His last name is not called.

Baza writes that on September 25, Tikhon, while in a city park, saw how the police detained a passerby with the use of force. He approached them and began to ask about the reasons for their cruelty, in response to which one of the policemen pushed him away, after which he took out a gun. Then he hit Tikhon with his head, shouting: “I’m going to shoot everyone’s knees now, bitches!” – and gave him one blow with his hand. The incident was filmed by one of the witnesses.

After finishing the beating, the police handcuffed the man and forced him into a paddy wagon. They later filed a complaint against him accusing him of assault. Maksim Shatilov, a PPS employee, claims that Tikhon kicked him and broke his finger. In addition, according to the policeman, his colleague Andrey Angirov suffered at the hands of the man, who allegedly received a concussion during the arrest. At the same time, they refused to accept Tikhon's statement. At the trial, footage of his beating was not included in the case file. The lawyer assigned to Tikhon allegedly did not notice this. The man was convicted of assaulting police officers.
