The defendant in the case of justifying terrorism for a comment on VKontakte was placed on indefinite compulsory treatment

The person involved in the case of justifying terrorism, Maksim Voronovsky, was sent for indefinite compulsory treatment in a psychiatric institution of a specialized type. About this writes "OVD-Info" with reference to his lawyer Roman Kachanov.

According to the lawyer, the court came to the conclusion that the young man could not fully understand the nature and social danger of his actions, so he cannot be found guilty. Now, every six months, the medical commission will decide whether he needs to continue treatment.

Voronovsky was sent to a pre-trial detention center in March last year, a case was initiated against him because of a comment on a photograph published on VKontakte of 17-year-old student Mikhail Zhlobitsky, who committed a self-explosion in the building of the FSB in the Arkhangelsk region (Zhlobitsky himself died, and several employees of the department were injured) . In the commentary, Zhlobitsky is called a "hero". Voronovsky claims he did not write this comment.
