The son-in-law of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Alexei Stolyarov, liked an anti-war post by blogger Yuri Dudya. When the Z-channels drew attention to this, he removed the like and explained what happened as a manipulation "with the help of photoshop."
“Guys, I see a lot of negativity online. I answer everyone at once: I didn’t like anything, I didn’t write anything to anyone. Please keep your head on your shoulders and don't let yourself be manipulated with photoshop," he wrote on his Instagram.
In a post that Stolyarov liked, Dud writes about Putin's "senseless and bloody war." The journalists of Polygon.media drew attention to the fact that his likes are on other posts of the blogger. The first is an interview with theater director Alexander Molochnikov, in which Dud also speaks out against the war in Ukraine. The second is an interview with Novaya Gazeta editor-in-chief Dmitry Muratov. One of the supporters of the war also posted a screenshot of personal correspondence, in which Shoigu's son-in-law calls him "Z-cattle".
Evgeny Prigozhin, the founder of PMC Wagner, commented on the incident: “We need to catch Stolyarov and bring him to me. I will train him for six weeks, and since I myself am a Z-reed, I will help him improve by sending him to combat operations. I didn’t quite understand the first part of the request, but since there was a question: “To blow it in or not to blow it in,” then before that, you can blow it in.
Stolyarov is the husband of Shoigu's daughter Xenia. Earlier, The Insider found out that during the war, the couple vacationed in the UAE. They stopped at the Caesars Palace Dubai hotel – such a vacation cost them at least 500 thousand rubles.
