The Russian military built a torture chamber in the occupied Vasilievka – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its daily report reports that the Russian military has built a torture room in the occupied Vasilyevka, Zaporozhye region. It contains those who support Ukraine in the war. Details, including about those who survived the torture in this room, were not released.

Also, according to the General Staff, in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, the Russian military conduct searches in the homes of civilians, thereby increasing pressure.

The premises used by the Russian military to torture the civilian population of Ukraine have been reported before. So, according to the Ukrainian investigation, in March they rounded up more than 300 residents of the occupied village of Yagodne in the Chernihiv region to the basement of a local school. They were starved and thirsty and forcibly kept in unsanitary conditions. Ten people died due to unbearable conditions in the basement. Another 17 residents of Yagodnoye were killed by the Russian military as a result of the cleansing of the village.
