An anti-war activist was arrested in the Leningrad region. He wrote slogans on the front of his store

The Lomonosov Court of the Leningrad Region sent into custody businessman Dmitry Skurikhin, who became famous for writing anti-war slogans on the facade of his store in the village of Russko-Vysotskoye. According to Network Freedoms, he was arrested in a new case of "discrediting" the Russian army (under Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code). The activist was detained on February 25.

Since September, Skurikhin has been under a ban on certain actions in a criminal case on repeated discrediting of the army, which was brought against him for a post in support of Ukraine, written by him in the Telegram channel last summer. The activist underwent several searches. Now a second case has been brought against Skurikhin.

In May last year, the entrepreneur was fined under an administrative article about "discrediting" the army.

In 2014, after the annexation of Crimea, Skurikhin wrote on the facade of his store “Peace to Ukraine. Freedom of Russia. In September 2022, after the announcement of mobilization, the inscription appeared on the same facade: “Go to hell with your grave.” On February 24, the anniversary of the full-scale invasion of the Russian army into Ukraine, Skurikhin held a rally outside his store: the activist knelt down with a poster "Sorry, Ukraine."
