The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia visited Ukraine for the first time. The Kingdom will provide assistance to Kyiv for $410 million

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud met with Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv. As reported in the official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian president, this is the first official visit of the head of the Saudi Foreign Ministry to Ukraine.

“Thank you for supporting peace in Ukraine, our sovereignty and territorial integrity! This is very important for us and our society,” the message says.

According to the Al-Ikhbariya TV channel, the head of the Saudi Foreign Ministry said that his country would provide Ukraine with assistance in the amount of $410 million. In addition, according to the Al-Sharq TV channel, two memorandums of understanding were signed during the meeting. The agreements reached provide, among other things, for the supply of petroleum products to Ukraine.
