The Russian Embassy in Germany reappropriated the anti-war action with the Russian tank

The Russian Embassy in Germany commented on the anti-war action with the installation of a wrecked Russian tank near the building of the department in Berlin. Diplomats reappropriated the action, calling it "a symbol of the fight against neo-Nazism in Ukraine." The embassy also said that she "did not meet with the understanding, support and sympathy of the German citizens."

“During today’s mass actions, they very clearly spoke in favor of a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, against escalation by pumping the Kiev regime with German weapons and military equipment and further tightening the anti-Russian sanctions spiral,” the department’s Telegram channel says.

The tank near the embassy was installed on the anniversary of Russia's war against Ukraine. A similar action took place near the Russian embassy in Riga – a 72B tank was installed there, which burned down in Bucha on March 31, 2022. Another tank appeared on Vilnius Cathedral Square.
