Died Russian political scientist Gleb Pavlovsky

Political scientist Gleb Pavlovsky has died. This was reported by gallery owner Marat Gelman, Head of the HSE Department of Local Self-Government Simon Kordonsky, and President of the Institute for Civil Society Problems Maria Slobodskaya. He is reported to have died after a stroke. The fact that Pavlovsky is seriously ill has been written on his social networks since November. He was 71 years old.

Pavlovsky is the founder of the Effective Policy Fund, which developed Vladimir Putin's 2000 presidential campaign. Since 2012, he has been a representative of the political opposition in Russia. In the 90s he was an adviser to the head of the presidential administration.

Pavlovsky spoke out with sharp criticism of Vladimir Putin and the war in Ukraine, remained in Moscow.
