The Belgorod region spent 10 billion rubles on trenches and anti-tank pyramids. This is twice as much as it took to build two hospitals.

The authorities of the Belgorod region spent 9.99 billion rubles on the construction of defensive structures on the border with Ukraine. According to the regional edition Lantern TV, Minister of Construction Oksana Kozlitina spoke about this at the operational meeting of the regional government.

More than four thousand builders and 680 units of equipment were involved in the work on the creation of the so-called "notch line", which was completed in January. The defensive line includes trenches, anti-tank pyramids, platoon strongholds and other structures. Employees of budgetary organizations were involved in the work.

As Lantern TV notes, the amount spent on the “notch line” is twice the amount spent on the construction of two infection centers, the last of which was opened in February in Stary Oskol.

The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, spoke about the construction of the Belgorod notch line in November and since then has periodically reported on the progress of work in his Telegram channel.
