A suspect in the case of anti-war inscriptions in Moscow was detained in Yerevan

Russian citizen Nikita Kamensky, who was put on the wanted list by the law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation in the case of “vandalism”, was detained at the Yerevan airport. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

According to the agency, Kamensky gave a written undertaking not to leave the country as a preventive measure. The case against Kamensky was opened in July 2022 due to anti-war inscriptions in the area of ​​the Timiryazevskaya metro station.

As OVD-Info clarifies , now Kamensky is in the linear department of the airport.

In early July, security forces in Russia interrogated Kamensky as a suspect in a criminal case and drew up reports on him under administrative articles. Then his apartment was searched. In December, he was put on the wanted list.
