In the occupied Crimea, more than 120 thousand people were left without water due to accidents in water pipes, local pro-Russian "authorities" reported on their Telegram channel about serious accidents in water pipes in Evpatoria and Krasnoperekopsk.

On the night of February 28, it became known that Evpatoria was left without water, the "head of administration" Elena Demidova said that there had been an accident on the water conduit in the Pribrezhnoye area. Classes in schools and kindergartens have been suspended.

“The water supply is limited in the city. The crash site has been found and cleared. Five units of equipment, 12 people were involved. Drinking water will be distributed throughout the city.

The mayor's office claims that the accident in Evpatoria has been eliminated, they also promise to restore water supply by tomorrow.

The Krym.Realii publication reports that another accident left the city of Krasnoperekopsk in the north of Crimea without water. The water supply to the villages of Sovkhoznoye, Tavrichesky, Pyatikhatka, Honorable is also limited. There, the resumption of normal water supply is expected by morning. The “government” of Crimea also reported an accident on the central water conduit of Krasnoperekopsk, water supply was limited in the city.
