Vladimir Kara-Murza got numbness in his limbs after being in the punishment cell

Politician Vladimir Kara-Murza, who is in the Moscow SIZO-5 "Vodnik" on charges of "treason" and spreading "fake news" about the army, experienced numbness of his limbs during his stay in the punishment cell, his lawyer Vadim Prokhorov reports .

On the 3rd day after being placed in the punishment cell, Kara-Murza began to lose sensitivity, first in the right foot, and then in the left.

Prokhorov recalled that after two poisonings in 2015 and 2017, Kara-Murza developed peripheral polyneuropathy, and being in a punishment cell aggravated the disease.

The politician wrote a statement addressed to the head of SIZO-5, Dmitry Komnov, with a request to have an examination by a neurologist.

Kara-Murza was placed in the punishment cell at the end of February because he "was lying on the bunk after getting up."

Kara-Murza has been in a Moscow pre-trial detention center on charges of “treason” and spreading “fakes” since April 2022.
