Saboteurs who entered the Bryansk region have already left the territory of the Russian Federation – TASS

The saboteurs who entered the border region of the Bryansk region do not show signs of activity, they could leave Russian territory, TASS writes , citing eyewitnesses in the region.

“There is no one from the Ukrainian group on the territory of the Russian Federation, they all left. Now there is a search, possibly, for the remaining fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on our territory, ”said one of the agency’s interlocutors.

According to TASS, the sounds of shooting are no longer heard.

Earlier, adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak said that the information about "Ukrainian saboteurs" in the Bryansk region was a Russian provocation. Behind the attack, he said, could be Russian partisans.

The so-called “Russian Volunteer Corps” claimed responsibility for the attack in the Bryansk region, stating that the information about the taking of hostages was a lie, and all actions were carried out in order to show compatriots that “there is hope that free Russian people with weapons they can fight the regime in their hands.”

As the media managed to establish, one of the people who starred in the video published by the military is the commander of the Russian Volunteer Corps, Denis Nikitin. The Vice edition in a material about Nikitin in July 2022 called him a neo-Nazi, a mixed martial arts fighter, an entrepreneur and an adherent of far-right ideology.

“I never thought that the border of the Russian Federation, even during the war, is as full of holes as the Z-patriots,” Nikitin himself wrote in his channel after the message about the penetration into the Bryansk region.

The Important Stories publication published a commentary by one of the fighters of the Russian Volunteer Corps, who, on condition of anonymity, told some details of what happened:

“I just came from there. There were 45 of us on this task. We went in, filmed, ambushed two BMPs. I didn't see any children. But there was one injured border guard. No hostages were taken."
