In the border village of Sushany in the Bryansk region, a battle is going on between the fighters of the Russian Guard and a group of armed people, now explosions are heard there, according to TASS, the propaganda publication Readovka , Baza , Shot and 112 Telegram channels, citing sources in law enforcement agencies. The authorities of the Bryansk region confirmed to RIA Novosti the incident in the Klimovsky district. The Armed Forces of Ukraine did not comment on the information of the Russian media, and there is no official comment from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation about the incident either.

According to TASS, there are dead and wounded among the residents of the Bryansk region. 180 people live in the village of Sushany.

Also, pro-government media and channels write that a group of 50 armed men took the villagers hostage. TASS claims that up to six people may be held hostage. Channel reports refer to a group of armed men as "saboteurs". According to Baza, armed people "with yellow armbands" entered the territory of a village in the Bryansk region and took some of the residents hostage. According to the channel, an electrical substation and a gas station were blown up in Sushany. The same information is provided by the Rybar propaganda Telegram channel.

Earlier, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that a sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) from Ukraine entered the village of Lyubechane in the Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region and fired at a car. According to him, one resident died, a 10-year-old child was injured.
