In Obninsk, children with cancer were involved in raising money for the Russian military

Obninsk hosted a Thank You for Kindness fair, where handicrafts made by children with various diseases, including cancer, were sold, and the money from the sale went to help soldiers wounded in the war. This is written by a local journalist Yevgeny Serkin.

The fair was held at a local shopping center. The journalist notes that visitors were offered to transfer money to personal cards.

Wounded soldiers from Obninsk are in a military hospital. “Souvenir buyers helped sick children feel that they, too, can help those who stood up for our Motherland,” Serkin quotes the mother of one of the children.
