Russia launched a mortar attack on the village of Ponyatovka in the Kherson region. As a result, a woman and two children died. This was announced by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.

On March 4, at least six Ukrainian civilians were killed under Russian shelling. Two people were killed during the shelling of the Gulyai-Polye city community. In the Kherson region, one more dead and three wounded. In Kupyansk Kharkovskaya, one person died – a Russian rocket hit a residential building. Two people died in Bakhmut, seven more were injured.

Russia has been shelling Ukrainian cities for more than a year. The Russian authorities, led by Vladimir Putin, say that only military infrastructure is being attacked, but reports of civilian deaths appear almost every day.
