Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited the occupied Mariupol. This is reported by the military department and publishes a video from his trip.
Shoigu was filmed on board a helicopter, in a military hospital and on one of the streets of the city. Next to him are employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The Ministry of Defense reports that Shoigu checked the progress of construction in the city, inspected the multifunctional medical center, the republican rescue center of the Ministry of Emergencies and a new microdistrict of 12 five-story residential buildings. He also heard a report on the construction of the largest water pipeline connecting the Rostov region and the "DNR".
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Shoigu visited the outskirts of Ugledar, where he met with the Vostok group of troops and the commander of the Eastern Military District, Colonel General Rustam Muradov.
