In Buryatia, the son of an activist who was arrested because of an anti-war rally was sent to an orphanage

In Buryatia, the guardianship authorities took the adopted son of arrested activist Natalya Filonova to an orphanage, 7×7 reports , citing her representative Natalya Nizovkina. After the arrest of his mother, the boy lived with her relatives.

A criminal case was opened against Filonova, 59, accusing her of allegedly breaking a police officer's finger during her arrest at a rally against mobilization.

First, 15-year-old Vova Alalykin was in the city hospital, then he was transferred to a social rehabilitation center in Ulan-Ude. On March 5, he was brought to the Barguzinsky orphanage.

“Barguzinsky district is located at a considerable distance from Ulan-Ude, there is no railway, only vehicles. [Vova] has many relatives, but they are not allowed to take him away. Filonova has a husband, three adult children, grandchildren, ”said Nizovkina.

The orphanage told the publication that the boy might be given to relatives, but the final decision would be made by guardianship.

In early March, sixth grader Maria Moskaleva was sent to an orphanage in the Tula region after her father was detained on charges of repeatedly “discrediting” the Russian army.
