“Based on the results of the study of the materials received, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation decided to recognize the activities of Transparency International, headquartered in Berlin (Germany), which is managed by citizens of foreign countries, as undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the report says.

The Prosecutor General's Office stated that the activities of the organization "clearly go beyond the declared goals and objectives." “Formally acting as an organization that fights corruption around the world, it interferes in the internal affairs of the Russian Federation, which poses a threat to the foundations of the constitutional order and the security of the Russian Federation,” the department says.

Transparency International is a non-governmental international organization that fights corruption and studies the level of corruption in different countries.
