Ukraine handed over eight cars confiscated in Latvia from drunk drivers

Latvian authorities have decided to hand over the first eight cars confiscated from drunk drivers to Ukraine, Delfi reports .

The cars will be given to the army units of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Hospital and the territorial medical association of the Kupyansky Council.

The Saeima of Latvia approved the relevant law back in February.

The Agendum Society will ensure the delivery of cars to Ukraine and their transfer to state institutions of Ukraine, writes Delfi.
