Prigozhin said that Wagner PMCs need $1 billion a month for the offensive in Bakhmut

Yevgeny Prigozhin said that the Wagner PMC, which he owns, needs $1 billion a month for an offensive in Bakhmut. His press service published a video from Bakhmut in which Prigozhin answers the question of whether he can provide mercenaries on his own. According to him, the Wagner PMC in Bakhmut needs "approximately 10,000 tons" of ammunition per month. The price of one kilogram, says Putin's "cook", is $50. In addition to ammunition, the militants need tanks, machine guns, anti-tank missiles and more.

“If a businessman has a billion to buy ammunition, and the state does not give him them so that he can spend them – the state that has gas, gold, coal, there are many other things – then this is no longer a business . It becomes public administration. Since I have no political ambitions, please give me ammunition, please,” Prigogine said.

Earlier , Prigozhin said that he, as well as Wagner PMC mercenaries, was no longer allowed into Russian ministries and disconnected from the government communication line. According to him, now he can influence the situation with the “shell hunger” only with the help of the media.
