The Commission on Juvenile Affairs filed a lawsuit demanding that Masha Moskaleva’s father be restricted in parental rights

The Commission on Juvenile Affairsfiled a lawsuit to restrict the parental rights of the father of the Tula sixth grader Masha Moskaleva Alexei. The first meeting will be held on March 15 at 15:00 in the Efremov Interdistrict Court of the Tula Region.

Masha Moskaleva drew an anti-war poster in support of Ukraine at an art lesson. The teacher denounced her to the school administration, and her father and her came with a search. The man was taken to the FSB, and Masha was sent to a shelter. Since then, Moskalev has been under house arrest in a criminal case on the repeated “discrediting” of the Russian army (part 1 of article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Masha is not allowed to leave the shelter, they do not allow her to use the phone and communicate with anyone. Also, independent MP Efremov Olga Podolskaya and a volunteer were not allowed to see her. Human rights activists who support Masha and Alexei are asked to sign a petition for the release of the child.
