The FSB of Russia in the Novgorod region reported on the detention of a man who allegedly tried to persuade the mobilized to transfer data about their location, steal military equipment and surrender to Ukrainian captivity. It is reported by TASS.
The pro-Kremlin publication claims that the Russian acted in the interests of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. A criminal case has been initiated against him for “cooperating on a confidential basis with a foreign state, international or foreign organization” (Article 275.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The man was arrested for two months. In the video released by the FSB, he is lying face down on the floor. The security forces also showed Ukrainian documents laid out on the table, including a work book and a passport.
After the outbreak of the war, the FSB regularly reports on the detention of those who are suspected of "treason" and work for Ukraine. So, just three days ago, on March 10, a local resident was detained in Nizhny Novgorod, who allegedly planned to go to war on the Ukrainian side.
