The police came to Yevgeny Roizman, who is under investigation in the case of "fakes". As lawyer Vladislav Idamzhapov told E1.RU, the politician was taken to the police station in order to draw up a protocol on an administrative violation due to a post on the VKontakte social network.
According to Roizman's wife, Yulia Kruteeva, he is not registered there and has never used this social network. The attention of the police was attracted by a repost made in the Evgeny Roizman group, to which he himself has nothing to do.
“Someone else in December wrote a denunciation that he posted extremist symbols on VK, apparently, there was a repost from Navalny. <…> The repost was made in the Evgeny Roizman group, to which he has nothing to do and does not know who did it. There are about twenty such groups in VK, ”Kruteeva said.
“This is a police mistake, we will insist on this, they don’t even understand the difference between a personal page and a group,” Idamzhapov added.
In August 2022, the former mayor of Yekaterinburg, Yevgeny Roizman, was detained in a criminal case on “discrediting the Russian army.” As a preventive measure, he was banned from certain actions, in particular, he was forbidden to visit public places and use any means of communication.
