Yevgeny Roizman was arrested for 14 days, the court found him guilty under the article on the demonstration of extremist symbols in social networks.
The video, in which the court saw extremism, was published on the Evgeny Roizman page on VKontakte, to which Roizman himself has nothing to do.
“Someone else in December wrote a denunciation that he posted extremist symbols on VK, apparently, there was a repost from Navalny. <…> The repost was made in the Evgeny Roizman group, to which he has nothing to do and does not know who did it. There are about twenty such groups in VK, ”Roizman’s wife Yulia Kruteeva explained earlier.
In August 2022, the former mayor of Yekaterinburg, Yevgeny Roizman, was detained in a criminal case on “discrediting the Russian army.” As a preventive measure, he was banned from certain actions, in particular, he was forbidden to visit public places and use any means of communication.
