The investigator in the case of NArFU student Olesya Krivtsova, who fled from Russia, threatens to search the apartments of her relatives, as well as to persecute them. Olesya herself and her mother told The Barents Observer about this.
Moreover, according to them, the security forces have already conducted a search in the apartment of Olesya's husband's grandmother, and now they are threatening to conduct them at her father and younger sister:
“The investigator threatens me on WhatsApp: “Think about the youngest daughter… Olesya’s problems will fall on Ilya and your youngest daughter,” says Olesya’s mother and notes that she did not know anything about Olesya’s flight.
Krivtsova is now in Lithuania, she managed to escape from house arrest on March 12. Olesya clarified that the video in which she removes the tracking bracelet from her leg was no longer made in Russia.
In January, Kryvtsova was added to the list of extremists and terrorists. The student is a suspect under two criminal articles: on “discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” and on “justifying terrorism” because of a repost on the VKontakte social network and a story about the Crimean bridge , as well as because of correspondence in a closed chat.
