“Kansky teenager” Nikita Uvarov disappeared from the colony

17-year-old Nikita Uvarov, who is serving a term in the case of the Kansk teenagers, was taken away from the Kansk educational colony in an unknown direction. Sibir.Realii writes about this with reference to his lawyer Vladimir Vasin.

The fact that Nikita disappeared from the colony, his mother Anna Uvarova and the lawyer learned from NGS24 journalists. They came to the colony to interview the teenager. It was scheduled for March 16 and, according to the publication, correspondents asked the GUFSIN for permission for five months. When the journalists arrived at the colony, they were offered to see the conditions in which other prisoners live.

“Of course, I don’t know, no one told me anything. I'm just in shock. I do not believe that he was taken somewhere without my knowledge, this has never happened. Maybe he is there. They just don’t want him to meet with journalists,” Uvarova said in a conversation with NGS24.

Nikita Uvarov was sentenced to five years in prison in February 2022. He was accused of undergoing training in order to carry out terrorist activities. Uvarov, as well as two other teenagers, Denis Mikhailenko and Bogdan Andreev, were detained by FSB officers in the summer of 2020 for sticking stickers in support of political prisoners on the building of the local FSB department. Later, they found correspondence on the possibility of blowing up the FSB building, built in the Minecraft game. This formed the basis of Uvarov's accusation.
