Latvia bans 35 Russian citizens from entering

Latvia has banned entry into its territory of 35 Russian citizens who support the war against Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, they include the former ambassador of the “LNR” in Moscow, Rodion Miroshnik, performers Yaroslav Dronov (Shaman), Akim Apachev (Gasanov), Natalya Kachura, Nadezhda Babkina, Alexander Marshal.

TV presenters Lera Kudryavtseva, Yulia Baranovskaya, Ruslan Ostashko, actors Polina Agureeva and Kirill Kuznetsov were also banned from entering. In addition to artists, political scientists Yevgeny Satanovsky, Gevorg Mirzayan, Rostislav Ishchenko and Dmitry Evstafyev and journalists Mikhail Shakhnazarov and Yulia Vityazeva were also subject to restrictions. After the outbreak of a full-scale war, the United States and European countries one after another close the entrance to their territory to Russian celebrities loyal to the Kremlin. Russia, in turn, is taking retaliatory measures. Thus, the authorities of the Penza region banned US President Joe Biden from entering the region.
