However, Pankov himself also prefers to register property on children. The daughter of General Maria, under a transfer agreement from the state, got a four-room apartment in the Residential Complex "House of the Presidential Administration" worth 70 million rubles – this is about 6 "coffin" (for those who died in the war, families are paid 12 million each). Information about real estate has been removed from Rosreestr, but The Insider has an archival extract. In the same house, by the way, lived Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Already during the war, last summer, Viktor Goremykin became Shoigu's new deputy, and at the same time the head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces. This is a long-term chief personnel officer of the Ministry of Defense. During his service, in addition to the Lexus car, he also acquired a 141-meter apartment near the metro station "Prospect Vernadsky" (ul. Udaltsova, 77). This costs about 50 million (4 "coffin").
Another apartment (109.5 m², more than 30 million rubles) is registered to the son of a rear general. Dmitry Goremykin, who, according to The Insider, is employed by the FSB, settled in the Coliseum residential complex.
One of the most loyal deputy heads of the Ministry of Defense is Pavel Popov . He and Shoigu have been together since the time of the Ministry of Emergencies. Popov was entrusted with the creation of the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation (NTsUO), which should coordinate the actions of all departments in case of war.
And Popov and his wife also have an apartment in the elite Moscow residential complex Smolenskaya Zastava. The apartment costs more than 70 million (6 "coffin"), but received by the general's family for free, from the Ministry of Defense.
In the same residential complex, another deputy of Shoigu, Alexander Fomin, received real estate. True, in an extract from the Rosreestr he is slandered as the “Russian Federation”, but the name of his son is not hidden.
Their apartment (199.1 m²) costs about 140 million rubles (12 "coffin"). Fomin's son, according to The Insider, receives a salary at Gross Group, a group of companies that, according to an FBK investigation, manages the underground empire of the head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller.
"Smolenskaya Zastava" has become a home for other high-ranking military personnel. Here he received an apartment (156.5 m²) and the head of the eighth department of the general staff Yuri Kuznetsov .
Another prominent general among the inhabitants of the elite ZhK is the commander-in-chief of the ground forces Oleg Salyukov . According to an extract from Rosreestr available to The Insider, the state gave him an apartment for 70 million (6 "coffin"). But this is not the only source of personal wealth for the military nomenklatura: as The Insider found out, Salyukov's son Dmitry received contracts from the Ministry of Defense.
Salyukov Jr. was the founder of Montazhspetsstroy LLC. This company rented equipment and supplied concrete to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Main Military Construction Directorate No. 2”.
Another place of compact residence for senior officers is the courtyard on Polina Osipenko Street near the CSKA metro station. The head of the military topographic department of the general staff Alexander Zaliznyuk , Rear Admiral Oleg Krivorog , the head of the electronic warfare troops Yuri Lastochkin , the head of the main communications department Vadim Shamarin and Sergey Chubarykin , suspected of atrocities in Bucha (commander of the 76th Guards Airborne Assault Division) settled here . The Vostok grouping during the war with Ukraine is commanded by Rustam Muradov . This 49-year-old general, along with his entire family, received a 111-meter apartment in a new building on Levoberezhnaya Street (d. 4, building 14) as a gift from the Ministry of Defense. The commander of Vostok drives a BMW X7 – such a car itself costs like an average apartment, this amount exceeds several of Muradov's annual income.
However, the most important landlord among the military can be considered, perhaps, adviser Shoigu, associated with Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Sadovenko .
According to The Insider, Sadovenko used a Porsche until recently. In fact, he used this car as his own, although the formal owner is businessman Denis Kitaev.
Kitaev is the brother of the adviser to the Minister of Defense Maria Kitaeva, with whom Sadovenko has joint children. Kitaeva was appointed as an adviser in 2012, there were no reports of dismissal. And at least as of 2020, she continued to be listed in the Ministry of Defense.
The Kitaev family ran a business development on the former lands of the Ministry of Defense, which were sold at a lower price. And Porsche is far from the only property that is registered with Kitaeva's relatives, but which was used by Sadovenko.
According to Sadovenko's latest available declaration, his children use the property with an area of 144.3 m². An apartment of exactly the same area is owned by Maria Kitaeva . It is located in the residential complex "Hunting Estate" and costs about 200 million rubles.
Maria orders food at a different address – in the LCD "House on Burdenko". Here, the apartment (202 m², 260 million rubles) is registered in the name of Shoigu's adviser's mother, Nina Kitaeva.
She also owns an apartment in the residential complex "House with Lions" (200 million) and an apartment in the residential complex "3rd Samotechny Lane, 11k2" (100 million).
In the same house in Samotechny Lane there is an apartment for 100 million from the brother-in-law of the Deputy Minister of Defense. He also owns a 287-meter apartment in the Bunin residential complex (490 million). And his daughter has an apartment in the Gelrich House (80 million).
The total cost of apartments discovered by The Insider in the family of Shoigu's adviser is 1 billion 430 million rubles. This is about 119 "coffin" paid to the relatives of the dead soldiers.
