Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a wanted Volkswagen Amarok in the city of Valuiki, Belgorod Region, because of which an “interception” plan was announced earlier in the Kursk region, since a man who called the police reported that there were “Ukrainian saboteurs” in the car. It turned out that the offended Russian called the law enforcement officers, who was cut off on the road by the driver of the Volkswagen. As a result, the car was searched in the Oryol, Belgorod and Bryansk regions. Two men and one girl were in the detained car, they did not have any weapons with them.
Baza sources claim that the car has not yet been removed from the orientations, police in some regions continue to respond to similar cars. At the same time, it was reported in the orientation that armed people could be in the car. The police were also warned that "saboteurs" could plan to commit serious crimes in the Belgorod region.
On March 2, all pro-Kremlin media reported an incident with the penetration of "saboteurs" into the territory of the Bryansk region, Putin called the incident a terrorist attack. According to him, "terrorists" entered the border area and opened fire on civilians. TASS, a few hours after the appearance of reports of "saboteurs", reported that they had left the territory of Russia. Two wounded border guards were also reported.
No confirming photos or videos of the “attack” itself appeared on social networks, the FSB published only a video of the consequences with some shot cars. Later, the Russian Volunteer Corps claimed responsibility for the attack in the Bryansk region, saying that the information of the pro-Kremlin media about the taking of hostages was a lie.
