Director of the Pushkin Museum Marina Loshak wrote a letter of resignation. She will be replaced by Elizaveta Likhacheva

The director of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Marina Loshak, wrote a letter of resignation with the wording "of her own free will", RBC reports citing sources. Later, Loshak herself confirmed this information to the Dozhd TV channel.

According to RBC sources, the new director of the museum will be Elizaveta Likhacheva, who since 2017 has led the Museum of Architecture named after A.V. Shchusev.

In early February, Zelfira Tregulova left the post of director of the State Tretyakov Gallery. Elena Pronicheva, the daughter of the former head of the FSB Border Service, Vladimir Pronichev, was appointed the new general director of the Tretyakov Gallery. Pronicheva has been the director of the Polytechnic Museum since December 2020. Prior to this position, she worked as Executive Director of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center in Moscow since 2013.
