“Layout”: MAI graduates are forced to sign subpoenas upon graduation

Graduates of the Moscow Aviation Institute are refused to issue diplomas until they sign for receipt of subpoenas to the military registration and enlistment office, writes the edition "Layout" with reference to university students.

“They don’t issue a diploma until you sign the summons. Right in the office where the diploma is issued, he sits as a military commissar, ”said one of the students. According to him, we are talking about a branch of the institute near the Taganskaya metro station.

Another student confirms:

“Together with the diploma, they demand to sign the agenda immediately. This is for those who have been studying for a specialist for five and a half years. They don’t care, especially the Golovinsky military enlistment office, which does not detach even after the temporary registration has expired.”

One of the graduates said that if you go to the military registration and enlistment office on such an agenda, then they will try to recruit for contract service:

“They are trying to get such people with higher education, to conclude a contract. And brazenly: you come to the military registration and enlistment office with this agenda, and they immediately say – go there and conclude a contract.

As Verstka clarifies, the solemn presentation of diplomas to MAI graduates took place in February – then diplomas were awarded to those students who showed excellent results in their studies. The rest of the graduates were given diplomas in a separate office together with the military commissar.
