“Memorial” employees in Moscow came with searches in the case of the “rehabilitation of Nazism”

Security forces came to the employees of "Memorial" in Moscow. According to the human rights organization, the searches are part of the case of the "rehabilitation of Nazism."

Currently, it is known about searches at the homes of Oleg Orlov, Nikita Petrov, Alexandra Polivanova's mother Marina, Yan Rachinsky, Irina Ostrovskaya, Galina Jordanskaya and Alena Kozlova. It is specified that employees of the Investigative Committee came to the human rights activists, and operatives from the Center "E" are also present.

According to the search warrant, the “rehabilitation of Nazism” case was initiated on March 3 against “unidentified employees” of Memorial. The reason was the inclusion of three people in the list of victims of political repression, one of whom was sent to camps for working in a German police detachment, and the other two were convicted of treason.

As Mediazona writes , having read the text of the resolution, it refers to Pyotr Alekseevich Dolzhenkov, Pyotr Pavlovich Dvoinykh and Rudolf Yakovlevich Naimiller. They were denied rehabilitation. Memorial has acknowledged in the past that errors sometimes occur when people are included in the list of victims of political repression. “For pointing out errors in our database, we are always grateful and try to correct them,” Yan Rachinsky, chairman of the board of International Memorial, wrote in this regard.
