House of Crimean Tatar activist Mustafa Mustafayev searched in Bakhchisarai

The FSB searched the house of Mustafa Mustafayev, a delegate of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people, in Bakhchisarai. It is reported by "Crimean solidarity". Just like in the case of the latest searches carried out at the Crimean Tatars in the annexed Crimea, this one is connected with the report of a “sabotage” on the railway in the Pochtovoye, Bakhchisaray district on February 23, 2023.

After the search was completed, Mustafayev and his sons, Amet and Sabri, were taken to the FSB. Mustafayev had previously suffered a stroke and a heart attack. Crimean Solidarity, citing Bakhchisaray activists, writes that the security forces also detained his nephew Shevket Ergashev. His house was also searched.

Earlier, FSB officers visited Soin Dzhelilov, Lemmar Yunusov and Akhtem Ismailov in the Simferopol region, Edem Murtazaev in Sudak, Memet Ashurov in the Krasnogvardeisky region, and Asan Abduramanov in Bakhchisarai with searches in the same case.
