Vladimir Putin's godfather Viktor Medvedchuk, accused of treason in Ukraine, became the owner of two gas station networks in Russia. This was found out by the journalists of the Schemes and the Scanner project.
They launched an investigation after Medvedchuk appeared on RT propaganda in January, where he gave his first interview since his release from captivity. There, the collaborator said that he was creating a new political movement. Schemes and the Scanner project suggested that Medvedchuk would need a new source of income to prepare. According to a similar scheme, he joined the Opposition Platform – For Life party and went to the elections to the Verkhovna Rada. Then his wife Oksana Marchenko became the owner of the oil field and plant.
After Medvedchuk announced a new stage in his political career, the director of NZNP Trade, Alexander Dontsov, controlled by Marchenko, headed two new companies, INGT and KNK. This happened in December and January respectively. The profile of both companies is oil production. They have not yet submitted reports on their activities and have not received oil production licenses. The founder of INGT and KNK is the joint-stock company GK Market, which does not disclose information about its owners in the registers.
It also owns ATI and Tradeproekt. The latter owns a network of filling stations under the LTK brand – Favorite Fuel Company and Novy Stream. Tradeproekt also supplies fuel to utility companies in the Lipetsk region. "ATI" also provides brokerage services in the market of fuel, oil products and liquefied hydrocarbon gases.
