In Kopeysk, Chelyabinsk region, police opened a criminal case against a school teacher who is suspected of beating and intimidating a sixth grader. According to 74.RU, the incident occurred after the lesson, when the history teacher decided to chastise the boy for bad behavior.

Judging by the audio recording of the conversation, which was published by the publication, the teacher forced the child to ask for forgiveness on his knees and hit him. In addition, the teacher can be heard saying: "I'm going to piss you now, got it?".

School director Irina Glazova told 74.RU that the teacher was suspended from classes, but not fired. She also said that the parents of the injured student did not contact her. Meanwhile, the police opened a case under Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (failure to fulfill the duties of raising a minor by a teacher, if this act is connected with cruel treatment of a minor), the maximum punishment for it is three years in prison.
