Politics Elvira Vikhareva was poisoned with salts of heavy metals a few months ago. This was reported by Sota, the journalists got acquainted with the analyzes of Vikhareva.

A highly toxic carcinogen, potassium dichromate, was found in Vikhareva's blood. At the beginning of December 2022, its concentration in the blood was 2.3 mg, in February 2023 – 1.6 mg.

Vikhareva herself told the publication that the first symptoms of poisoning appeared in her at the end of November. She developed stomach pains, increased heart rate and numbness of the limbs, convulsions and fainting. In addition, Vikhareva's hair began to fall out.

According to the comments of doctors, the symptoms correspond to long-term poisoning with salts of heavy metals.

In 2021, Vikhareva ran for the State Duma in the north-east of Moscow. She lost, according to the results of electronic voting, to TV presenter and United Russia candidate Timofey Bazhenov. In 2022, Vikhareva took sixth place in the municipal elections in the Moscow district of Maryina Roshcha and did not win. In the last months before the poisoning, she blogged and attended broadcasts.

In February, Vikhareva wrote on her Telegram channel that her health "began to turn off all possible energy and physical resources." According to her, she began to get sick in November 2022, at first everything was attributed to psychosomatics and workaholism. From the end of January 2023, she became worse, so she began to undergo examinations. The politician also claimed that she went to doctors endlessly, giving away the money she had accumulated for months, without getting any results.
