Russian marketplaces stopped selling Ukrainian goods at the request of the State Duma – deputy Gusev

Russian marketplaces “voluntarily and unilaterally” stopped selling Ukrainian goods at the request of State Duma deputies. The decision was announced by State Duma deputy, first deputy head of the Just Russia faction Dmitry Gusev at a meeting with representatives of marketplaces, where employees of Wildberries, OZON and Sberbank were present. He is quoted by Baza.

According to the deputy, part of the profits from the sale of certain goods from Ukraine went to finance the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Gusev was indignant that this money goes to “bullets and grenades in our guys,” and also thanked the marketplaces.

“Thank you for voluntarily, unilaterally refusing to trade in Ukrainian goods. These are the lives of our people."

On March 22, only one note appeared on the TASS Telegram channel about the meeting of parliamentarians with representatives of the marketplace. The agency cited Gusev's statement that the Wildberries order pick-up points in the Russian Federation would work as usual.
