Students of the Yaroslavl State Theater Institute (YGTI) were forced to drop out because they did not want to perform at a concert in support of the war. This was written by the Telegram channel "Caution, news".
The event called "Glory to the defenders of the fatherland" was held in Yaroslavl on February 23. Its participants performed patriotic songs and wrote letters to the military. There were also officials who complained about the situation in the war. One of the students of YaGTI told "Caution, news" that shortly before the concert, the administration of the university demanded that students perform at it. Four people said they were dissatisfied with this requirement, but did not refuse to participate in the event. Despite this, the administration of the institute began to put pressure on students. The rector called them "professional unsuitable" and gave them six months to leave the university.
After the start of a full-scale war, all pro-government structures are being purged of those who do not support the invasion. So, at the end of November, student Maria Ismailova was expelled from the Timashevsk Human Resources College in the Krasnodar Territory for a post about the forced collection of assistance for the Russian military in Ukraine.
