Employees of the Tretyakov Gallery were obliged to come to a conversation about the “terrorist essence of Ukrainian radical structures”

Employees of the Tretyakov Gallery were ordered to come to a meeting with the Russian military who participated in the war with Ukraine. The photo of the mailing list for museum employees was published by the Ku-ku Telegram channel.

“The main goal of the event is to reveal the terrorist essence of Ukrainian radical structures,” the mailing says. At the bottom of the postscript – "to ensure the presence of the heads of departments, at least one person from the unit is required."

In early February, Elena Pronicheva was appointed the new general director of the Tretyakov Gallery, replacing Zelfira Tregulova, who has been in charge of the gallery since 2015. Pronicheva previously served as director of the Polytechnic Museum. She is the daughter of the former head of the FSB Border Service, Vladimir Pronichev.

Shortly before her appointment, the Ministry of Culture sent a letter to the Tretyakov Gallery, in which it demanded a report on the compliance of the museum's exposition with "spiritual and moral values."
